The Law Department at Copenhagen Business School is hosting an
international research conference on EU Electronic Commerce Law.
Leading legal researchers and experts from European Universities will
participate. Ongoing research-projects will be presented and discussed

eCommerce conference - Luxembourg
An international conference on eCommerce labels and trustmarks will
take place from 17 to 19 September in Luxembourg.
The conference will discuss the importance of ensuring consumer
confidence in electronic services, and the methods of achieving such
trust.
Some of the themes of the conference include:
- electronic commerce and its development perspectives;
- expectations of the cyber consumer;
- signs and marks on the Internet;
- guaranteeing the quality of online sales;
- the role of national and international public authorities;
- the role of non-governmental organisations.

Luxembourg hosts e-commerce certification event
A 'ClassicFirstTuesday' event on e-commerce
certification will take place on 17 June in
Luxembourg.
The event is intended for e-commerce web
providers interested in applying for an
e-commerce certificate. A series of requirements
will be presented relating to business to
business (B2B) , business to customer (B2C) and
other e-commerce activities.
The event is being organised by
NewMediaConnectors in cooperation with the
Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy, and the
Luxembourg office for accreditation and
inspection (OLAS) .
